Zurich’s
defending champion and hometown favorite, Patty Schnyder,
was in action on Tuesday against fierce competitor Eleni
Daniilidou. Schnyder played true to the form she
exhibited last year in winning the title to defeat
Daniilidou 63, 63. Following the match, Schnyder
commented on her opponent saying, “You have to attack
her, can't let her play her game.” She added, “I
served very well and I dominated especially in the second
set. Overall I played well throughout.” |
